2006–2009. The birth of a new philosophy
In 2006, the hotel underwent a large-scale renovation and acquired the status of a luxury boutique hotel. Internationally renowned designers such as Paco Rabanne, Suzanne Logguier, Patrick Brugman and architect Matteo Thun are working on the interiors.
It was during this period that the key idea of the hotel was formed — refined luxury without ostentation and absolute privacy.
2010–2013. Private residence by the sea
RODINA establishes itself as a closed resort for the elite. A total of 39 rooms spread over 15 hectares of subtropical park create a feeling of complete privacy. Service becomes an integral part of the atmosphere — natural, unobtrusive and impeccable.
2014–2018. Territory of trust
The hotel becomes a space for state-level events and international meetings. Key events take place here, including presentations and negotiations that shape Sochi's image on the world stage.
A landmark event was the meeting between Sergey Lavrov and John Kerry, which emphasized the status of the hotel as a territory of trust and confidentiality.
2019–2026. Absolute uniqueness
Today, RODINA is developing as a new generation resort with an emphasis on health and longevity. Private events, gastronomic dinners and author's programs form a new format of recreation — conscious, deep and personalized.
After 20 years, the RODINA Grand Hotel & SPA Sochi remains more than a hotel.

The hotel celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2026. The official date is June 11, and the main festive event will take place during the velvet season, on September 18.
