In the Library hall of the RODINA Grand Hotel & SPA, with the support of the Volkhonka Art Projects gallery, the history of American and European pop art is presented and will show its most significant pages.
They are associated with such names as Jim Dine, Alex Katz, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Jeff Koons, David Gorenstein and, of course, the central place in the exhibition is occupied by posters and silkscreens of the American pop art icon Andy Warhol.
Selected for the exhibition are lithographs from the famous Astra series by D. Dine, designs by Jeff Koons for the famous porcelain manufacturer Bernardaud, and a sculpture by David Gorenstein.
The collection is complemented by paintings by Vladimir Dubossarsky, whom the authoritative publication The Art Newspaper calls one of the most famous contemporary Russian artists.
